Peter Conacher & Co. organ Circa 1880s at St. Cadoc's, Trevethin Pontypool. (Not listed on NPOR yet) is due to be scrapped by the church as it is badly damaged and too costly to repair. It's originally IIP, (approx) 17 speaking stops, but presently with a Choir organ installed Circa 2000, IIIP with 22 speaking stops. The church says that they are happy for anyone to have the organ as long as they remove it completely. Otherwise it will be scrapped. This organ can be visited but not tried as the blower is present but disconnected.

Swell and Choir enclosed with respective Ratchet Swell pedals. Pedal, Great and Swell on Tr and Me key and stop action whilst Choir on EL for key and stops action. Two comb pistons to Great and 3 for Swell.

Good news with this organ. Plans are to have this organ valued and placed on market the other side of March this year. Change with plans came after an increase of interest in it. More information will be available on the Church in Wales website...

See: http://parish.churchinwales.org.uk/m706/homepage/st-cadocs-trevethin/

More news will be on it shortly.
Many Thanks,
