Following is a link to Daniels Recital Hall... Formerly home of  First United Methodist Church... and
its Austin pipe organ 8)

And other bits of intrigue, like the quarter-century battle to save the building taking a turn in our State Supreme Court and a "landmark" decision... and the number of railway freight cars it would take to haul the rubble of the historic church to landfill if the congregation had their way :o

Links from that page are a really interesting read 8)

The high-rise going on the property is currently under construction and the recital hall is undergoing
restoration work as this is being written.  Was in Downtown Seattle a few weeks ago having invited a friend to attend the free organ recital down the street at Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony, and noticed the work in progress as we drove by.

Do have a look at the related articles, Youtube videos, etc...

Glad David got the forum up and running, hopefully for a long time without annoying failures...

The objective is to reach human immortality—that is, to create things which are necessary to mankind, necessary to the purpose of the existence of mankind, and which have become the fruit that drives the creation of a higher state of mankind than ever existed before."
