Hi, on ebay a Thomas casson Organ
to someone who is a beginner with regard to Pipe Organs it looks nice.

Hi

It does indeed look a nice example of the breed.  These are very basic organs,designed for small churches.  As is typical, this has a limited manual compass - just 4 octaves from F, meaning that a lot of the repertoire is not playable.

Larger examples often had melodic & melodic bass couplers to simulate a 2 manual & pedal instrument.

Yes, they're nice little jobs and easily transportable.  I moved one from Essex to Orkney and it was just a matter of wrapping the pipes, wheeling it onto a van (they tend to be on wheels), wheeling it out at the other end and putting the pipes back.

This looks like a nice one.  I've played a few identical examples.  I don't see it on NPOR, but I seem to have the knack of missing things when I look them up....
