Another example of electronic being replaced by pipe organ

Hi!

It looks as though with the failures of 20-30 year old electronics, now is the time to become a pipe organ builder . . .

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Church-Organ-/220834079511 is a 3 manual Analogue Rodgers which is now being replaced by a pipe organ. The electronic has clearly kept the spirit of organ music alive in the meantime.

Now redundant due to restoration of Church's Pipe Organ.

...This would imply the pipe instrument replacing the electronic is, strictly speaking,( ;)) not exactly "new"

but this information comes only from the E-bay listing...   

The condition of the "Analog Rodgers" is suspect as there

Maybe a couple of flaws in the stops.

Nevertheless, this would likely make a reasonable practice instrument for the home... and when the analog electronics finally give up the console could likely be "midified" and the basis of a fine sample-based instrument...

Great news the church made the decision to restore their pipe organ 8) 8) 8) 8)
