Hi!

I have just noticed that the Charlwood Organ Open Day is happening under the banner of Heritage Open Days, formerly administered by the Civic Trust and now English Heritage - http://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/

This umbrella event provides useful publicity locally and nationally to all worthy heritage and draws attention to its contribution to local communities. It's a great way to draw people in who might not normally venture near an organ or a church. It could provide a good opportunity to launch a fundraising awareness campaign.

Best wishes

QuoteDear Organ enthusiasts!

On Saturday 10th September we are showcasing our William Hill organ and would love it if you would come and play a short piece on the organ on as part of our Heritage Open Days weekend.

If you have friends who would like to have a go then please pass the message on to them.   The more the merrier!

We will also have information about the organ and a visual display of the ambitious project to move the organ from the chancel to its current location.

If you are interested in coming along between 10am and 2pm, on Saturday 10th September, please get in touch (either by phone or email) so that we can get a play list together.

I attach information about our Heritage Open Days.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards
