Organ matters - Organs matter!

Hi, saw this on ebay - any one wanting a (rather tall) house organ? Apparently it started out as a chamber organ; from the stop list I suspect it would make a nice one.

Folks, please forgive another view here. I agree it's all a very sad state of affairs - but I think a little proportion is needed.

I'm quite saddened to see an organ unwanted, but even sadder to see a church closed. And as for the chap selling the organ, I suspect he's either a developer having bought the whole property or a trader having bought the chapel contents. In either case he's behaving in a manner quite appropriate for someone trying to make his living - which we should accept.

If we want to reduce the number of sad cases of unwanted organs then we need to help non-organ folks see just what a splendid thing an organ is. A little sad reflection is a healthy human response and fine at that; I don't think moaning and negativity is at all helpful.

Folks, ebay seems to be doing a roaring trade - pipe organs to suit every style and taste.

Yet again no stop list, the only Berkshire IP by Mr. Jones I can find on NPOR has the wrong date and (?) number of stops.

There's a stop list on ebay now - seems like it's not that one from NPOR.

Hi, from the original ebay sale of the bits I remember there were partial ranks of Dulciana and Principal for the Great. Are they still present, and if so do you know what range the available pipes cover (or are they random odds)?
