Organs Preserved / Willis organ relocation

The RC church of St Peter's Cobridge (Potteries) has closed and its 1953 Willis has been remodelled and rebuilt only a few miles away in Newcastle under Lyme.
The project is nearing completion. I must say that I think the quality and voicing of the pipework is excellent.

Organs in danger / Organ in North Staffordshire
October 01, 2012, 10:49:13 PM
Organ in an RC church in North Staffordshire available. Church now closed for worship.

Two manuals (61 note) and pedals (30 note). Organ installed and rebuilt/remodelled (from a Methodist church) in the late 1960s/early 1970s by Oakes. Swell - mechanical action. Great - pneumatic. Pedals - electric. Organ is not listed on NPOR.

Great - 888844 2 2/3 2 1 3/5 1 1/3  Swell 88884288 8ve coupler  Pedal 16(metal) 16 10 2/3 8 4  usual couplers

Swell mechanical action needs a lot of attention.

Church is secure but open to the elements to cure rot in the roof. Rot, as far as I can see, has not affected the organ.
Instrument free to a good home. Any interest and I can probably arrange for a faculty to be granted for removal quite quickly.

Hello everyone. I'm new here. With three other colleagues, I try to help the parishes of the RC Archdiocese of Birmingham in matters organic.

This two-manual Jardine is in a state of dereliction. It has not played for several decades (fallen roof debris and water damage etc...  - all rather sad).

A faculty application to have the instrument removed (scrapped?) is imminent.

Yes, the instrument could simply be mothballed but the parish would never have funds sufficient to restore it.
All suggestions as to secure some sort of future for the organ - even if only the pipework - welcome. Thank you.
