Hi everybody,

I'm building a 4 manual Hauptwerk rig for home practice using keyboards bought on ebay, and the key touch is quite soggy. I gather that modern digital organs use a stiff plastic bubble under the key to simulate the tracker feel of a pipe organ, and I'm trying to source a couple of hundred – does anybody know where I could obtain any?

Very grateful for any help ... Google has drawn a blank for once!

thanks

The console's a pain to get into though.

I seem to remember that it used to have microphones above the organ to relay the sound to a couple of speakers by the console so you could follow what you were playing. They'd gone when I last played there 3 or 4 years ago.

QuoteI have not yet heard
11. Paul Carr, although there are members here who rave about him . . . and it would be great to see him telling us more about his concerts in the concerts section of this forum . . .

Best wishes

David P

If you still haven't, you can take the opportunity to hear his debut CD with Regent, which is also the first solo recording of the 1994 Walker in St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham.

He's still living in Kings Heath, and teaching from home. I think he's playing a lot at Emmanuel Wylde Green for Richard Mason.

I came to the conclusion about 3 years ago that RORCL was no longer trading, but according to companies house they are still putting in their annual returns - http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/62e38d4590615d7f96d8dd8cbb90e660/compdetails  Haven't bothered to download the detailed info, but you can get copies of the returns etc for a couple of quid.
