Moving server - disruption may result

Hi!


We are moving this site to a new server based in the UK over the next couple of days. We aim to avoid losing any posts posted during the changeover but it's always a possibility and we'll do the best we can.


The server will take over from two servers currently in America holding around 40 or so sites and the new server has capacity for around 50 more. If anyone would like site hosting, we can offer space at good value, supporting the cost of running this forum at the same time.

Sorry for disruption today - we have moved server and scripts elsewhere are incompatible with the new operating system resulting in error messages eating up the disc and corrupting the Organ Forum data.


We hope it won't happen again . . .

Yes - very sorry - there are technical difficulties with different paths and permissions . . . . and a whole host of scripts on files linked from www.latroba.co.uk/regions are incompatible with new versions of software, causing complications all round. Very frustrating.
