Title: Free Complete Dismantled Organ
Post by: Angusc on July 10, 2019, 08:32:11 AM
I carefully dismantled and removed the pipe organ from Mackie Academy hall a couple of years ago. It had hardly been played, has 3 manuals, full concave pedal board etc. I have all metal and wood pipes, air boxes, circuit boards etc. Small pipes carefully wrapped. Stored in dry house garage. Space now needed so free to anyone who wants it. Located near Aberdeen, Scotland.

Is there a specification anywhere?

Thanks so much for posting.

Best wishes

Is the Machie Acadady organ still available?  I used to live in Stonehaven - I owned the old Alexandra Hotel. At that time, there was a strange 3 manual organ in the Academy which only had one stop on each manual!!  It was not fully working.  I understand from Alan Buchan that there is an Ingram extension organ also - is this the one you have?  I am wathching the restoraion on the Ingram theatre organ in Corstorphine which I owned for yours.  However, I have a wee church which looking for a small pipe organ.  Can you help - as always - they have no money!!
