Hi,
I just saw this Organ on ebay and thought I would mention it.
Item number: 130487154880

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Walker-2-manual-3-stop-practice-organ-/130487154880?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Keyboard_RL&hash=item1e61a3f8c0

looking at the specification it does seem possibly a bit limited as the pedals are always coupled to the upper manual. of course I'm the first to admit I have a lot to learn about Pipe organs ......

Hi,
just in case anyone is interested, the British Clavichord Society has arranged a Clavichord afternoon at Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street London W1k 2PA on the 20th Nov 2010.
Admission is £ 10-00 and there is a recital by David Griffel at 3-45 pm, of Spanish Music.
earlier on there is a talk about the history of Clavichord recordings and an introduction to the music in the recital.    at 4-30 pm  there are refreshments and a chance to play a clavichord !  more info
www.clavichord.org.uk

regards Peter B

P.S for those beginners like myself the Clavichord has a different action to that of a harpsichord which makes it different ( and difficult) to play but can make it more expressive

November 10, 2010, 02:37:56 PM
Hi,
following on from another topic, just to let you know that as far as I know the Pipe organ in All Saints Church Carshalton is going to be restored later on this year.
they have had some concerts but the last Concert featured two pianos rather than the Organ.
the audience was allowed to vote for which Piano they liked the best !
