Title: BBC prom this afternoon
Post by: David Pinnegar on August 26, 2013, 05:48:50 PM
Hi!

I came in this afternoon to hear the tail end of this afternoon's BBC prom featuring the Albert Hall organ.

If anyone knows of any repeat broadcast of this concert it would be great to post details here . . .

Popular, fun . . . and just what the instrument needs.

Best wishes

David P

Hi

The BBC don't seem to be repeated any of the "odd" proms - just the main evening concerts - not even the late night ones, which is often the home of interesting music.  Richard's concert should be on iPlayer for another 6 days though, so you'll be able to hear it if you've got time.

incidentally, the Monday (Yeasterday) lunchtime concert from the Edinburgh Festival featured the Hebridean Ensemble with Thomas Bloch on Glass Harmonica - fascinating.

Every Blessing

Tony
