Title: William Johnson organ for sale
Post by: lizyh on January 19, 2012, 07:29:20 PM
This practise instrument was built in 1982 by William Johnson of Cambridge for a professional organist who has had to retire from playing. The windchests, console, bench, and all components were new; the pipework, by Binns, was secondhand. Most of the structure is mahogany, the pedals are beech. It has been serviced on a yearly basis by William Johnson himself and has only ever needed minor adjustments.

The manual compass is C2 to C7
The pedal compass is C2 to F4

It has a radiating and concave pedal board, and an electric action.
