Title: All Saints' Church, Newtown, Powys
Post by: Gwas_Bach on April 07, 2014, 09:22:36 PM
This instrument will need a new home very soon.  The church are planning to put a new toaster in its stead.  Having played it, I can say that it is a nice instrument tonally; I was particularly impressed with the clear, singing tone of the Open Diapason.  It's quite small (I don't have the exact dimensions to hand), and it's mechanically quite simple.  IMHO it deserves a new home, though I would be tempted to change the Dulciana and "Harmonic Flute" (which is nothing of the sort) for an 8' flute and a Principal of similar type.
