It seems it was composed for the opening of the church, it is quite uninspiring and Victoriana at its best!!!

I would like to wish all members a very Happy Christmas and New Year

Sadly they have started the demolition of this building, as far as I am aware the large Compton extension organ was not removed which is a pity.

There is a firm in Stratford selling pipework, or indeed Jonathan Lane a member of this forum.

Fascinating, I liked the automatic key holder.
It is listed on NPOR under Walworth Castle, they say the builder was Gray and Davison, although there is some uncertainty about this.
I know of one organ that the DOA had said it must be kept and has been removed I assume without a faculty as I cannot see the DOA reversing his decision.
Howe interesting to know where the Rowton Castle organ is, does it play??
I would prefer a scarf and a decent organ!!
Did anyone watch this? One part came from a church with a large organ divided on either side of the Chancel, does anyone know where this was?

It would be good to see any information you have Angus, I was sorry to read that ill health is preventing you from rebuilding it.

I cant see it listed on NPOR!! Can you give more details please?
I don't think it is this forum in death throws, I think it is a general thing, people will soon get tired of facebook etc.
