New organ building firm builds its first instrument

Kiepper (Pipe) Organ Company of Springfield is installing its first pipe organ in the nave of St. Alban's in the Ozarks Episcopal Church in Bolivar.

Installation began Oct. 10 and will continue for about four weeks. Voicing of the organ will take an additional month after the instrument has settled in its new home.

Kiepper Organ Company has been in business since April 2010. It offers maintenance, new installs and rebuilds on organs.
