Welcome jh5speed.  The organ in Trent College is still there - I played it this summer.
Any idea what happened to in Breaston?

Sadly the Professional advice seems somewhat limited since there is no detail of the number of manuals let alone the stop list.  Interesting to see the Watkins and Watson went in to Organ Building as well.

Does anyone know the second organ in Coppenhall.  We're not looking for a "Victorian" organ but the description of its sound suggests something different.

Before contacting the Church authorities can you say how genuine you believe the information to be?  I have had a quick look at their website and there is no obvious mention of this.  I do not wish to appear to be dealing in third hand rumour.

A search on Google reveals that Shipley United Reformed Church has recently been sold and the small photograph looks the same as that on eBay.  I cannot find this lisetd on NPOR.

I received no replies either to emails or to a request for further information via eBay itself.  I did find a telephone number for the Rev Coleman but in the end decided not to follow up as the instrument looks too large and too Victorian for our needs.  But if anyone did want to find out more then just google Rev A Coleman Rhosymedre.

Thank you for your comment.  I had noticed the "-1 Karma" and do wonder what in 7 posts has been considered worthy of such judgement.  I do in fact wonder why the opportrunity to judge a contributor is included at all. It is not something I have seen on other messageboards; I have normally seen the option to judge favourably an individual post rather than poster.

Anyway I will continue to use the site regardless.

Best

Looks in quite a state!  £600 starting bid would be optimistic I think.

Curious to know what the Viscount box in the middle picture is doing there with Carols for Choirs 2 below it?

Victor - thanks for the link.

Janner - no reply as yet.

I've emailed the gentlemen asking various questions and will happily pass the answers on to NPOR.  What do people know of Conacher instruments - I only know the name?
#14
Well the Rev Coleman is Priest in Charge at Rhosymedre (where have we heard of that)  St John which does not for which the NPOR says "No further information available".

Thanks Jonathan - have sent you an email.

The organ in the Chapel is being offered on the IBO Redundant Organs list and I have contacted the School Bursar but he says there is no one at the school with any knowledge of organs so he can't give me any more information.  The listing says that it is by Lewis and Co which I gather was taken over by Willis in 1919 but the instrument looks much more modern from the photographs.  It also says that the instrument is used for five services a week and yet is available for scrap purposes only.  I can't find a listing for it on the NPOR.  Does anyone know anything about this organ?

As this is my first post, I should explain that I am the organist at a small village church in Northamptonshire and we are looking for a two manual instrument for the church to replace a one manual Walker which is inadequate.
