Hello everybody,
I apologize immediately to quote other sources of forum, it being understood that, if a further exchange is possible in this place, it is obviously on this forum (and in English) that I will continue the conversation.
There a few years ago, I started thinking about it. It is also conceivable that I return on it, especially because I think that my progress in programming have not stagnated. And I still believe it will be necessary to develop the facilities of organological publications since some organbuilders who restored such great Cavaillé-Coll are absolutely willing to publish their studies on the web.
As I said in French here (translated here by Google)
The website of Pascal Leray gives see sketches of windchests. However, it quickly becomes clear that there are, in fact, fully electric with one electromagnet by pipe. Well, I find it of course interesting... but I think that we have to progress .. and publish.
I tried to start the conversation on this topic on the Mander's forum. It is one thing to find this very well, congratulate, encourage... Another thing is to criticize and make news ideas, even completely contradictory to what I try to grow. In short, it often falls into the water, the organbuilders considering they have other things to do than give their recipe calculation of windchests to the community who do not cares of this things.
Thence to imagine they please share their work under the aegis of Open Source or Creative Commons licenses... We can dream. Is this forum haunted by organbuilders? Are there (a little bit) programmers ? Am I alone in this world ?
