Title: A New Modular Pipe Organ
Post by: Moretti Candotti on May 10, 2021, 09:38:20 AM
I recently stumbled across a post on the Toulouse les Orgues Facebook page about a proposal for a new portable pipe organ called L'orgue L'Explorarateur. The organ will have a modular design (similar to the Orgue du Voyage), and will consist of 30 stops derived from 12 ranks of pipes. The construction of this organ is intended to begin later this the year, and should be completed by next year.

Thanks, I think it will be interested in seeing how this organ will be used when it is completed.

I had also came across another modular pipe organ under construction called L'Orgue Gulliver. It has a rather interesting swell box for the trumpet rank.

Hi

Looks like they've reinvented the "Nags Head" swell box!
