The RC church of St Peter's Cobridge (Potteries) has closed and its 1953 Willis has been remodelled and rebuilt only a few miles away in Newcastle under Lyme.
The project is nearing completion. I must say that I think the quality and voicing of the pipework is excellent.

There's a very similar Willis in Stowmarket United Reformed Church, Suffolk.

If the Newcastle under Lyme installation enjoys similarly excellent acoustics, it should be a very fine organ indeed.

The Stowmarket organ was in danger a few years ago when the local authority wanted to put a compulsory purchase order on the church (an impressive post-World War II building) in order to redevelop the area, but I believe that this threat has now passed.
