OPEN DAY FOR ORGANISTS  at St Nicholas Church, Charlwood.

Organists are invited to play the historic 1858 Holdich organ in St Nicholas Church, Charlwood, Surrey on Sunday 11th September between 11am and 5pm.

This two manual and pedal 13 stop organ is virtually in its original condition as installed over 150 years ago. The event will be hosted by our organist John Sharples and  Patrick Cox, both members of Crawley & Horsham District Organists Association.

For your convenience and avoid having to wait your turn, organists are encouraged to book a time to play in advance by contacting Patrick Cox by email, pccox@f2s.com or by telephone 01293 862224.  Please see the attached flyer for full details.

Please could you forward this email and the attached flyer to all the organists you know in order to ensure maximum publicity for this event.  If you know an organist who may be interested but who is not on email please could you pass on a hard copy.  As this event is aimed at a special interest group we have not carried out any conventional publicity so the only way organists will find out about the open day is by your passing on the invitation; may I thank you in advance for your support in doing this and helping to make the day a success.

With kind regards

Patrick Cox
